Twitter is one of the biggest social networks on the web and also a great place to market your blog along with traffic generation. Till now blogs and websites were using unofficial twitter buttons like Tweetmeme. As the button is a big favorite among the webmasters, one day or the other official twitter buttons had to come.
Twitter itself has now released the official twitter buttons for use on any website or blog with some additional feature like options of asking people to follow you after they tweet your content or post.
The button is available as vertical count, horizontal count or without count. You can choose what type of button you want. You can also customize your tweet text, URL and language. Languages available are English, German, french, spanish and Japanese.
It also gives you a option of adding twitter accounts for recommending people to follow while they tweet. After you are done customizing , you can just grab the HTML code at the bottom of the page and paste it at the place where you want the button to be on your blog or website.
For the timebeing, there is no plugin for WordPress but hopefully it will be out soon in few days by someone or the other.
